Meeting of the Central Maulid Steering Committee of Thailand for the year 1446 AH to be held on 18-20 April 2025
On Tuesday, 11 February 2025 at 10.00 a.m., Pol. Maj. Gen. Surin Palare, Secretary-General of the Central Islamic Council of Thailand and Chairman of the Central Maulid Organization of Thailand for the year 1446 AH, chaired the meeting of the Central Maulid Steering Committee of Thailand for the year 1446 AH, along with Mr. Prasan Sricharoen, Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Qualified Council of the Chularatchamontri and Chairman of the Religious Ceremony Division, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pakorn Priyakorn, Secretary of the event, Mr. Prida Chueaphudee, Advisor to the Chularatchamontri and Chairman of the Royal Reception Ceremony Division, Mr. Prasert Mahamat, Secretary of the Chularatchamontri, Dr. Ali Khan, Deputy Secretary-General of the Central Islamic Council of Thailand, and representatives of relevant operations, attended the preparation meeting at the Central Islamic Committee of Thailand Meeting Room, National Islamic Religious Affairs Administration Center. The Central Maulid Festival of Thailand is an important celebration for Thai Muslims. It is a mission to honor the virtues and teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) by striving and raising awareness in practicing the principles and conducting oneself according to his example in order to create love and peace among all people. We have received the immeasurable grace from His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen who will proceed to open the “Central Maulid Festival of Thailand for the year of Hijri 1446 or Buddhist Era 2568” on Friday, April 18, 2568 by the Chularatchamontri, the Central Islamic Committee of Thailand, the Provincial Islamic Committee, the Mosque Committee, Muslim Institutional Organizations and Thai Muslims throughout the Kingdom who have jointly organized to celebrate the birthday of the Prophet Muhammad during April 18-20, 2568 at the National Islamic Religious Affairs Administration Center, Chalerm Phrakiat, Khlong Kao Road, Khlong Sip Subdistrict, Nong Chok District, Bangkok.
