Attended the Islamic Summit under the theme “Islam and Buddhism” organized by the Muslim World League (MWL) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on 27/2/2025.

Pol. Maj. Gen. Surin Palare, Secretary-General of the Central Islamic Council of Thailand, Dr. Ali Khay, Deputy Secretary-General of the Central Islamic Council of Thailand, and Dr. Muhammad Amin Jehanu, Executive Director of the Halal Standards Institute of Thailand, attended the Islamic Summit under the theme “Islam and Buddhism” organized by the Muslim World League (MWL) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on 27/2/2025.
H.E. Dr. Othman Hassan welcomed the distinguished guests.
• Expressed his deepest respect for the leaders of Buddhist and Islamic religions, including high-ranking officials of Cambodia.

1. Honoring the leaders of the country and religious cooperation
• Expressed respect and gratitude to Samdech Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, and Samdech Hun Sen, former Prime Minister, for promoting peace and stability in the country.
• Mentioned the important role of the Muslim World League (MWL) in organizing this conference, which is the first of its kind in Cambodia and brings together Islamic and Buddhist religious leaders from 31 countries.
