The Supreme Patriarch presided over the opening ceremony of “Mega Halal Bangkok 2025”, showcasing the potential of Thai Halal on the world stage.

On July 16, 2025 at the BITEC Bangna Exhibition and Convention Center - Mr. Arun Boonchum, the Grand Mufti, presided over the opening ceremony of the “Mega Halal Bangkok 2025” International Halal Academic Seminar, which was honorably organized under the concept of “Purity Way of Life” in collaboration between the Office of the Islamic Committee of Thailand, Worldex G.E.C. Co., Ltd., and ComAsia Co., Ltd. (ComAsia), with representatives from leading organizations both domestically and internationally attending the event. In the opening ceremony, Pol. Maj. Gen. Surin Palare, Secretary-General of the Central Islamic Committee of Thailand, gave a report on the objectives and significance of the event, which was honored by Mr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al Suhaibani, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Thailand, representatives from the Halal Accreditation Agency (HAK), representatives from international halal certification organizations, diplomatic corps, the Central Islamic Council of Thailand, provincial Islamic committees, advisors to the Chularatchamontri, and distinguished guests attended the ceremony.

The organization of “Mega Halal Bangkok 2025” aims to promote and announce the outstanding potential of Thailand’s Halal business to the world community, as well as serve as a central platform for connecting business networks, creating international cooperation in the production of Halal products and services, and as an important mechanism for driving the country’s economy and tourism in a tangible manner.

The event gathered the best quality Halal products and services in full. The exhibition area is divided into 5 interesting lifestyle zones: Food & Beverage, Beauty, Health, Fashion and Tourism. The event will be held from 16-18 July 2025 at Hall 98-100, BITEC Bangna.
