On December 9, 2025, Professor Arun Boonchom, the Chulalongkorn University Rector, Professor Amnuay Photikrajeng, and the Association of Former Arab Students received the Sheikh Hamad Award for Translation 2025. In Doha, Qatar, a significant cultural event was held, featuring a seminar on AI in translation and dissemination into various languages (English, German, Thai, Albanian, and Turkish). It focuses on promoting understanding between Arab culture and other cultures of the world. On behalf of the Central Islamic Committee of Thailand, we would like to congratulate Professor Arun Boonchom, the Chularajmontri (Chief Islamic Religious Leader), and Professor Amnuay Photikrajeng. and the Arab Alumni Association that received this prestigious award and has created academic works for Thai people to continue to study and gain knowledge.
