Mission accomplished! "Nong Suhaimin," one of the five finalists, has been returned to the embrace of his family in Yala.

“Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.” (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Raji'un)
The Chularajmontri (Chief Islamic Religious Leader), the Chairman of the Central Islamic Committee of Thailand, and the committee would like to thank all sectors that cooperated to make the mission of returning the bodies of the 5 victims of the crane collapse incident to their hometowns in Pattani and Yala provinces a success.
On the evening of January 16, 2026, the body of "Nong Suhaimin Yeng" arrived at the central mosque in Yala province, amidst the waiting of his parents (Mr. Abdulroning and Mrs. Sa'ah Yeng), relatives, and elders in the area, before the body was moved for burial at the Nibong Baru cemetery, completing the final task of the evening.
On behalf of the Chularajmontri (Mr. Arun Boonchom), the Secretary-General (Pol. Maj. Gen. Surin Palare), and the Central Islamic Committee of Thailand, who have followed the situation with concern and have instructed that we take care of our Muslim brothers and sisters as if they were family.
The Central Islamic Committee... We have provided full support and covered all expenses, including air transport of the bodies (Suvarnabhumi-Hat Yai) and ground expenses for caring for the relatives, to ensure that "we will not leave anyone behind."
May Allah (SWT) grant mercy and forgiveness to the five deceased individuals and reward all those involved who helped to successfully complete this difficult mission... Amen.
