Official Announcement Regarding Halal Certification

The Central Islamic Committee of Thailand (CICOT), through its Halal Affairs Division, has officially received accreditation from the GCC Accreditation Center (GAC) as a halal certification body compliant with the GSO standards of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member countries.

This accreditation elevates Thailand's halal certification to an international level and facilitates the export of goods to Muslim countries in the Gulf (GCC).

This is in addition to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, which CICOT already certifies and is recognized for.

This achievement reflects CICOT's commitment to developing Thailand's halal system to be standardized, transparent, and trustworthy at the international level.
