A reception held to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia.

On August 20, 2026, at 6:30 PM, Pol. Maj. Gen. Surin Palare, Secretary-General of the Central Islamic Committee of Thailand, attended a reception celebrating the 81st anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia. The reception was hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Thailand, and was hosted by H.E. Mr. Hari Prabowo, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Thailand, at the Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok.

This participation signifies the long-standing good relations and friendship between the Islamic administrative organizations of Thailand and the Republic of Indonesia, and provides an opportunity to further strengthen cooperation in various fields.
